iPROTECT Insurance & Financial Services began as a boutique Nationwide Insurance Agency known as Scott Howell & Associates, Inc. The original agency location was established in Athens, AL in 2011. Since then, we have seen tremendous growth and have transformed into a full-service independent insurance agency. We work closely with many of the insurance industry’s leading carriers, vendors, and service providers to offer our clients the most comprehensive and competitive products to fit their unique needs.
Part of our growth has involved establishing multiple office location. We currently have offices in the Alabama communities of Huntsville, Athens, Decatur, Florence and Hamilton, Alabama, as well as a satellite location in Flint, Michigan.
The insurance industry has changed significantly over the years, but the truth is, no matter how you purchase your insurance policies, you still need qualified, experienced professionals to guide you through that transaction. Our process and ease of doing business are unmatched in the insurance industry. We have the ability to quickly quote and issue coverage whether we meet in the office or simply by phone or email. Either way, our clients will receive the personalized experience they deserve.

If needed…To hold your hand through the claims process. To honor that commitment and because claims rarely occur during business hours, each iPROTECT client that calls our office, after hour’s, can press 1 on their mobile phone and be immediately connected to Scott Howell’s (Agency Owner) mobile phone, to discuss your after hours claim. We understand that we don’t earn our money by taking your policy premium each month. We earn our money, if needed, by holding your hand through the claims process and monitoring that claim to completion.
