For most people, their business or real estate portfolio represents years of hard work, sacrifice, and investment. Clinton Orr believes protecting those assets requires more than simply finding the lowest premium. It requires understanding each client's business, identifying risks before they become problems, and developing insurance strategies that support long term success.
As Vice President of iPROTECT Insurance & Financial Services, Clinton specializes in commercial insurance with a focus on multifamily housing, apartment communities, commercial real estate, and investment properties. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Real Estate Law and a real estate investor himself, Clinton understands the unique challenges property owners face and helps clients make informed decisions that protect their investments while supporting their long term goals.
Known for simplifying complex insurance issues into practical, understandable solutions, Clinton has built lasting relationships by being accessible, responsive, and committed to doing what is right for his clients. He holds the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation and believes the best insurance advisor becomes a trusted part of a client's team, providing guidance that extends well beyond the insurance policy.
Clinton believes the best clients are informed clients. Whether someone is purchasing their first investment property or managing a large commercial real estate portfolio, his goal is to provide honest advice, practical education, and thoughtful risk management so every client can make confident decisions.
Outside the office, Clinton enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, hunting, golfing, traveling, and giving back to the community he proudly calls home.
At the end of the day, insurance is built on trust. Clinton's mission is simple: to treat every client's investment as if it were his own and build relationships that last for years, not just until the next renewal.
Calen was born and raised in Detroit, AL where she currently lives with her husband, Matt, and their two kids, Hadlee Kate and Wells, their 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 horses and donkey. She began her journey in the insurance industry in Huntsville, AL with a local independent insurance agency at 20 years old, working under insurance peers with a wealth of knowledge and over 75+ years combined experience. This experience put her on the path to a great career. Starting as a Clerical Assistant, she worked her way to Commercial Lines Account Manager then Commercial Lines Marketer and On-The-Job Instructor. This industry and job experience is what led her to iProtect in 2022 as Senior Commercial Account Manager and she now serves as Agency Manager.
In her spare time, she spreads her time between between dance recitals, softball fields watching her daughter, raising “Wildman Wells”, at the ball fields or courts watching her nephews play, or taking care of the “zoo” of animals she cares for at home. In addition to the insurance world and at home chaos, she has founded a volunteer ran, donation based, no-kill, non-profit animal shelter in 2021 in Marion County, AL, called Hoof or Paw. Her family and animals are the biggest part of her heart and the reason why she works so hard to succeed in her career.
Originally from South Florida, Matt earned his business degree from the University of Central Florida before relocating to Georgia in 2022. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 12 years and their three children, coaching youth baseball and softball, fishing, traveling with his family, and giving back to the local community.
Specializing in helping contractors and commercial businesses protect what they've worked hard to build, Matt brings more than 20 years of experience working alongside business owners in relationship-driven industries. He spent the first 16 years of his career in commodity brokerage, helping clients navigate volatile markets and manage financial risk. In 2022, needing a new challenge, he transitioned into commercial landscaping, where he led operations and sales for a multi-million-dollar branch, managed P&L responsibility, and played a key role in integrating the business following its acquisition by a private equity firm.
Today, Matt combines those experiences to provide a different perspective on commercial insurance. Having managed operations from the inside, he understands the challenges contractors face every day, from workforce issues and jobsite safety to fleet management, claims, and profitability. His goal isn't simply to lower insurance premiums, but to help business owners reduce their Total Cost of Risk through proactive risk management, strategic insurance planning, and long-term partnerships.
